How Enterprise Architecture helps connect IT and business goals.
Hi! I was wondering how to establish interaction between IT and business. In our company, each department used to work on its own, and then we started using the Enterprise Architecture approach. One of the first successes is agreeing on a budget for new software. In the past, the IT department would often propose projects that were not always supported by management because they didn't see the business value in it. Now, however, we can show a clear link between technology and our business goals. What's it like in your companies? Is anyone else using this approach?
It's interesting to read how people are using Enterprise Architecture. We are still only talking about it, but I see the potential. I think, especially in large companies, it can become a key factor for successful growth. If someone else shares some examples from life, that would be great.
